STAFF of Buletin Mutiara from the Communications Division were surprised and delighted when Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng dropped by during the office Raya potluck on Aug 2 at Level 47, Komtar.
These writers, photographers, videographers and communications officers under Director of Communications Division Yap Lee Ying quickly suggested: “Let’s take a selfie with the big boss!”
Lim and his wife, Betty Chew, were all smiles and posed for the camera.
The Buletin Mutiara department has a true Malaysian spirit with staff members from various races like Malay, Chinese, Indian and even Siamese but all work as a team.
Teamwork, cooperation and a sense of responsibility to update the latest news through several medium – social media, website, video, printing and now, FB Live are part of their daily routine.
Like they say, a picture says a thousand words.
These are the people who are out there taking photos, videos and reporting stories for the state.
However, a big question that in the hearts of the staff and one which we are prepared to face is – Is this going to be last Hari Raya with the CM who is facing corruption charges?
