THE Penang DAP committee will be meeting this evening and working on their best strategies following the dissolution of the parliament.

The state party chairman Chow Kon Yeow said the party’s committee would also be making decisions on several matters.

“We will need to decide the best actions and strategies that can be taken,” he said during his ‘Jelajah ❤️ Penang’ programme at Lebuh Cintra.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced the dissolution of parliament. He said the 15th general election would be held within 60 days following it.

Chow said: “It looks like the Prime Minister and the Barisan Nasional government have decided to ignore the rakyat’s voices by pushing forward to hold the General Election during the year-end monsoon period.”

“Anyhow, the decision has been made,” he added.

Chow said that the national DAP has also, coincidentally, scheduled a meeting tomorrow (Oct 11).
