Salleh refutes news report

PERMATANG Pasir assemblymember Datuk Salleh Man clarified in a press conferenc in Komtar on Nov 2 that he is with the Pakatan Harapan state government and the Chief Minister.

”This is to refute NST’s report dated Oct 31 ‘Penang PAS rep won’t support state government’. I was not interviewed by the reporter. How can they print such a story? I want NST to withdraw the statement immediately,” Salleh said.

“That is a wild allegation. I won the election as the assemblymember in Permatang Pasir as a result of the spirit and cooperation of the Pakatan Rakyat (which was the coalition of PAS, DAP and PKR). Based on that spirit, I will continue to support the Penang state government under Pakatan Harapan (coalition of DAP, PKR and Amanah). I will also support the Chief Minister and defend him and the state as one of the 30 assemblymembers,” Salleh added.

“I will continue to serve the state and pray that Penang under Pakatan Harapan will be further developed and be successful,” he concluded.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and exco members were with Salleh and they posed together for a group photo in the said press conference.
“The fact that Datuk Salleh Man is here today is a proof that we are working together,” Lim told members of the media.
