“According to TNB’s plan the badly damaged stretch will be resurface at end of November or early December. However, till now, no sign of road repair was seen in the area,” MBPP’s councillor Wong Yuee Harng told a press conferene this afternoonwith assemblymember of Komtar, Teh Lai Heng.

Wong added that the council has issued letter of notification to TNB by giving a one week grace period (from 12.12. 2018 till 19.12.2018) to complete repair work on the affected stretch.

“However, if TNB failed to carry out the repair work, we will take over to do the job, and all cost will be charged to them,” Wong stressed.
