RESIDENTS of Berapit can visit the Berapit service centre to seek free legal advice from April onwards.
Berapit assemblyman Heng Lee Lee said the free legal consultation would be held on the second Saturday of every month from 11am to 1pm.
“Every individual needs to be equipped with the knowledge of legal rights.
“We hope that we can impart some knowledge on how the law works and provide assistance to those in need,” she told a press conference at her service centre today.
She said those who needed legal assistance must fill up the application form before attending the legal advice session.
Lawyer Low Yu Jo will be providing the free legal consultation at the Berapit service centre.

The centre is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (Wednesdays – Night Service from 7.30pm to 9pm) and Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
