Nationgate does its bit for needy students

A TOTAL of 150 pupils from five Tamil schools in Jawi received early school aid for the 2023/2024 session, thanks to the generosity of Nationgate Solution Sdn Bhd, at SJKT Nibong Tebal yesterday.

The schools are SJKT Nibong Tebal, SJKT Ladang Byram, SJKT Ladang Changkat, SJKT Ladang Kerian and SJKT Ladang Jawi.

Jawi assemblyman H’ng Mooi Lye expressed his gratitude to Nationgate for its meaningful support and assistance.

“Nationgate has never forgotten to help school students who need support to purchase uniforms and equipment for the 2023/2024 session.

“SJKT schools in the Jawi state constituency are very fortunate because every year Nationgate Solution Sdn Bhd is willing to channel financial aid to the children, especially for Tamil schools in Jawi.

“Further good news is that Nationgate has increased its voucher assistance from RM50 to RM80 per student for them to buy clothes or school items at Yawata Nibong Tebal Supermarket. This is because of the increasing cost of living.

“This will ease the burden on the parents of the recipients. I hope the students will study diligently and become the future leaders of the country one day,” H’ng said during his speech at the handing out of the voucher assistance ceremony.

Also present were south Seberang Perai district education officer Dziauddin Mat Saad, Nationgate Solution’s representatives – C.K. Tan (vice-president of Strategic Business), Ric Ong (HR director), S.F. Yong (HR director) and Kholed Staffa (R&D director).
