NEX 2018 Penang Leadership Conference aims to inspire, refresh and challenge participants to be effective in corporate world & society

COME Nov 8 -10, the NEX 2018 Penang Leadership Conference will commence at the E & O Hotel, Penang.

The event organised by Livingston House of Learning, Settlements and supported by the Penang state government will see the attendance of some 400 business leaders for this year’s conference.

Exco for Tourism Development, Heritage and Culture, Yeoh Soon Hin speaking at a press conference to launch the event today said the goal of the NEX Conference is to inspire, refresh and challenge participants to nurture value-based leadership, equip them with fresh perspectives and develop new competencies to be effective in their corporate world and society.

“Our mission is to nurture value-based leaders in learning and exchanging ideas and insights through collaborative networks,” he added.

In 2016, NEX Penang was graced by the former Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng.

For the event on Nov 8, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow will be officiating the event.

Among this year’s panel of speakers include Minister of Energy, Green Technology, Science, Climate Change and Environment, Yeo Bee Yin and Deputy Minister of Women, Health and Community Development, Hannah Yeoh.

Also present at the press conference were NEX Penang 2018 organising committee chairman Datuk Jerry Chan and chief executive officer of Settlements, Chew Yan-Y.

Meanwhile, Chan said the conference hopes to bring a mindset for people of different background to work with each other to achieve a common objective.
