CHIEF Minister Chow Kon Yeow today confirmed that incumbent representatives in the Penang DAP line-up are yet to be approached to discuss their preferences and aspirations in the coming 15th General Election.

He said this after being asked by a reporter whether DAP veterans in the state, who have been serving for many terms, would be contesting again in the upcoming election.

“Although I said we have completed interviewing new faces, we are yet to speak to the incumbents.

“So, once that is done, I would have a fairer idea of the incumbents’ personal preferences and aspirations on whether they want to continue and be considered as candidates in GE15,” Chow said during a brief press conference in Komtar today.

Meanwhile, Chow also said that Penang Pakatan Harapan is expected to hold the Jelajah PH between next month and November.

He added that there had been changes to the state PH line-up, especially among the PKR leaders.

“Announcement on that would be made soon,” Chow added.

Joining him was state Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin.
