Penang’s manufacturing industry to take centre stage at EMAX 2024 and PMAX 2024

THE 4th edition of the Electronics Manufacturing Expo Asia (EMAX) and the 3rd edition of the Penang Manufacturing Expo (PMAX) are set to draw some 8,000 visitors from July 24 to 26 at Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang.

 

Touted to be the state’s largest electronics and industrial manufacturing expo, the event is aimed at bringing together international congregations of chip manufacturers, semiconductor manufacturers, and equipment suppliers.

 

Fireworks Trade Media Group chief executive officer Kenny Yong said the event was expecting participation from over 40 countries, featuring more than 200 leading brands.

“EMAX 2024 and PMAX 2024 will showcase the latest developments in the industry and meet the needs of the industry.

 

“The participants can check out the exhibitions, explore manufacturing technologies, and components, attend informative seminars and build networks and collaborations,” he told a media conference in Komtar today.

 

Fireworks Trade Media Group and NRG Exhibitions (M) Sdn Bhd jointly organised the EMAX 2024 and PMAX 2024.

 

Deputy Chief Minister II Jagdeep Singh Deo said Penang would continue to harness and grow the strength of the manufacturing industry.

“We are happy to see the manufacturing industry players coming together today.

 

“Penang’s manufacturing industry is already thriving in the country, and I would like it to be the biggest in the world,” Jagdeep said.

 

He added that the state hoped that more such events could be held in Penang.

 

“The state welcomes and promotes sustainable and eco-friendly solutions,” he told those present. Among them were NRG Exhibitions (M) Sdn Bhd country manager Celine Loo, and EMAX 2024 and PMAX 2024 advisor J. Philip Vincent.
