IN order to promote the construction of the ‘Belt and Road’ and deepen the pragmatic co-operation between Malaysian and Chinese industries, the Chinese Consulate in Penang today hosted a 2018 Chinese-owned enterprise sharing conference at G Hotel in Penang.
The event brought together more than 20 Chinese-funded enterprises, namely China Railway Construction, MeHow Medical, China Southern Airlines, Bank of China, Jingko Solar, ZhongHua Southern Pharma, China International Water & Electric and the rest.
It showed profile related to finance, electronics, rail transit , solar energy, medicine and health care, trade, infrastructure, rail transit, solar energy, medicine, health care, infrastructure and others in the North Malaysia region.
Present at the promotion ceremony for the exhibition were exco for Tourism Development and Heritage, Culture and Arts, Yeoh Soon Hin, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Penang, Chen Guoyao, director of Penang branch of Malaysia Investment Development Authority, Yusni Md. Yusop and senior general manager of Invest Kedah, Zafir Annuar Ghazali.
