THE Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) has set up its career search portal to help the people, especially youth, to find their career.

The career portal has more than 1,000 job listings from over 150 companies from various industries.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the initiative, themed ‘We Want You’, was much-awaited in view of the Covid-19 crisis.

“Many people are at risk of losing their jobs because companies have to reduce their costs. The companies are also impacted by the economy.

“Those who are affected or unemployed can use the career search portal as a platform to look for a new career,” Chow said after launching the Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) career search portal at The Whiteaways Arcade in Beach Street on June 6.
