THREE community associations under the Air Putih state constituency received a total of RM6,400 in financial assistance today to support their ongoing activities and initiatives.
The recipients were the Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) of SJKT Rajaji, the Persatuan Penganut Dewa Chai Ji Dian Desa Mawar, and the Persatuan Penganut Dewa Sri Maha Muniswarar.
A brief mock cheque presentation ceremony took place at the Air Putih state constituency service centre today.
Present at the event were PIBG SJKT Rajaji chairman S. Saravanan, Persatuan Penganut Dewa Chai Ji Dian Desa Mawar chairman Kung Kia Hor, and Persatuan Penganut Dewa Sri Maha Muniswarar secretary Maliga Ganasan.
Air Putih assemblyman Lim Guan Eng said the financial contributions were aimed at supporting the associations’ respective programmes and community outreach efforts.
“The PIBG of SJKT Rajaji received an allocation of RM3,000, Persatuan Penganut Dewa Chai Ji Dian Desa Mawar received RM2,000, while Persatuan Penganut Dewa Sri Maha Muniswarar was allocated RM1,400 for the purchase of religious attire for devotees,” he said.
In a separate announcement, Lim shared updates on ongoing and upcoming infrastructure development within the constituency. He noted that a total of RM311,980 has been allocated for several projects, including drainage upgrades, road maintenance works, and improvements to pedestrian walkways.
“These efforts are part of our commitment to enhancing the quality of life and infrastructure in Air Putih,” he added.
