GEORGETOWN, Turning ideas into a reality with 3D technology!
With the arrangement by Paya Terubong assemblyman, Yeoh Soon Hin, 104 students from SJK(C) Kong Min Cawangan Kedua Pulau Pinang, with the guidance from instructors of Tech Dome Penang Science Discovery Centre, are able to transform their idea into physical shape with the help of 3D Technology. The program known as the “Young Scientist Project (3D Creator)” was held by the school to arouse student interest in technology.
Yeoh Soon Hin said, he hoped to inspire students’ creativity through the activity.
“Students are future pillars of the country; and exposing the students to these activities enables them to gain knowledge and learn more things not covered in their curricular studies, this will help stimulate their creativity.”
Yeoh Soon Hin added, although he is now the Penang Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture and Arts Committee chairman, he had never overlooked his responsibility to solve the livelihood issues in the Paya Terubong constituency.
“I’m currently planning to create a ‘pocket park’ in the Farlim area to provide local community resident with a location to carry out sports and leisure activities.”
