AMIDST the enchanting glow of lanterns, more than a thousand participants, including students from 27 schools, revelled in the ‘Light in George Town’ Mid-Autumn Charity Lantern Walk.

Beyond the beautiful lanterns of various shapes and sizes, what truly stood out was the heartwarming display of the ‘muhibbah’ spirit, as individuals from diverse backgrounds came together to celebrate this traditional Chinese cultural event.

Leading the lantern walk was a lively lion dance troupe, which injected vigour and spectacle into the event.

Upon returning to Jalan Green Hall, the attendees were treated to a captivating Chinese dance performance and an exhilarating Chinese drum performance by young pupils.
