Komplexs Bukit Jambul (KBJ) Ratu Kebaya Contest

THE Grand Final of the KBJ RATU KEBAYA 2015, which was held on

26th September at Kompleks Bukit Jambul, saw Amy Nurtinie Bt. Abdul

Aziz, 19, beat 15 other finalists to capture the ‘KBJ Ratu Kebaya 2015’

title.

She won the hearts of the judges with her beauty, gracefulness and self-

confidence during the show and Q&A session. For her efforts, Amy took

home RM2,000 cash, two-day, one-night stay in a Deluxe Room at Lone

Pine Hotel Batu Feringghi, trophy and other prizes.

Meanwhile, the first runner up; Nur Aida Aqilah Azmi, 21, received

RM1,000 cash, two-day, one-night stay at Eastin Hotel Penang, a trophy

and other prizes

The second runner up ; Nurhazwani Bt. Zaini, 24 received RM500 cash,

two-day, one-night stay at Vistana Hotel, a trophy and other prizes.

Ma’Embong were on the stage to crown and present prizes to the top three

winners.

Meanwhile, Kompleks manager, Siti Rohani Ibrahim said : “Like every
success story, it starts with a humble beginning. For the Ratu Kebaya KBJ
Contest, it all started with a humble ambition of preserving the wearing of
‘Baju Kebaya’ among the younger generations.

“Initially, everyone thought Ratu Kebaya Contest would just be another
beauty competition, but because of its significance in preserving the
‘Kebaya’ from the cultural aspect, KBJ Ratu Kebaya created a noticeable
mark in the pageant industry and earned due respects from the industry
players. It brings back the glory of the Kebaya costume,” she added.
