CHIEF Minister Lim Guan Eng on June 18 joined some 150 bikers from Harley Bikers Group and hundreds of children from five
Homes for a breaking of fast and durian fest at the Esplanade
Also present were Harley’s Bikers Group Penang Chapter director Datuk Mohd Zainal and its Malaysian Chapter director and Harley Malaysia Owners Club president Choo Kai Mun.
In his speech Lim praised the bikers for their international image, which made the state proud.
“Penang is grooming itself to be an intelligent and international city. What the Harley Bikers group is pursuing is in line with
the state’s vision and mission,” he added.
Meanwhile, Mohd Zainal thanked the state government for being with the Harley Bikers Group in joining the breaking of fast with the children.
At the function, representatives from the five Homes received donations from the Harley Bikers
Group.
