Clinic incorporates technology to improve and enhance healthcare

STRIVING to provide the highest standard of primary care, HMC Clinic decides to incorporate two technology tools – Dr Touch mobile application and MOTO technology – in its services.

HMC Clinic and Home Medicare managing director Dr Thomas Khor said HMC Clinic aimed to be the leading tech-clinic in Malaysia.

“We provide the highest standards of primary care from treating the very young to the very old in the community.

“HMC Clinic is a dynamic clinic with essential services; from treating common cough and cold, routine blood investigations, preventive immunisations to the one-of-a-kind ‘Fall Clinic’ using MOTO technology.

“We will also be pushing the boundaries of chronic care management for the elderly using the Dr Touch mobile application.

“Dr Touch and MOTO are new solutions or new technologies that can help the aging society improve their health with minimal risks,” Khor said in his speech during the HMC Clinic grand opening ceremony at Solaria Square on Jan 19.

Penang Works, Utilities and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman Zairil Khir Johari believed that HMC Clinic could be an industry leader in Penang.

“I congratulate HMC Clinic for their vision and boldness in pushing the envelope through the use of two technologies – Dr Touch and MOTO technology.

“HMC Clinic is truly at the forefront of healthcare,” he said.

Home Medicare and Bliss Pharmacy also jointly organised a health carnival in conjunction with the grand opening of HMC Clinic.
