“Technology has become an essential part of our lives. We have become dependent on various gadgets to make our lives easier and one of the important gadgets is the smartphone.

“However, the elderly may not be technology savvy.

“We are holding this programme to help them improve their digital skills.

“We teach them how to use the MySejahtera app, some online shopping apps, as well as apps for online banking, smart parking, e-billing, e-hailing and others,” Purushothaman said in his speech today.

Bagan Dalam assemblyman M. Satees officiated the programme.
