THE Penang Recreation Club (PRC) held a successful blood donation campaign for the first time at the G Hotel in Gurney Drive recently.

 

PRC honorary secretary Podim Hatia said a total of 46 donors, who came forward to donate blood, were mostly youngsters and first timers.

 

A blood donor getting some encouragement from ‘Superman’ Calvin Aeria at the G Hotel grand conference room.

 

“We want to thank them, the Penang Hospital Blood Bank Department as well as the G Hotel management for supporting the event,” Podim said.

 

Present to encourage passersby to donate blood or the donors was a young man dressed in a Superman outfit.
