THE Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) is giving premises owners an exciting opportunity to win cash and gold through a special lucky draw when they pay their tax assessments for 2026.
MBSP mayor Datuk Baderul Amin Abdul Hamid announced the promotion during the council’s regular meeting at MBSP Tower today.
The promotion applies to the first-term tax assessment payment for 2026, and the promotion runs from December 1 2025, until February 28 next year.
“This promotion is specially offered to all premises owners in Seberang Perai who settle their 2026 annual assessment taxes, including any arrears (if applicable), through online channels, kiosks, or appointed collection agencies,” said Baderul.
The lucky draw features 60 cash prizes for assessment taxpayers. The breakdown is as follows:
•1st Prize: RM8,888
•2nd Prize: RM5,000
•3rd Prize: RM4,000
•4th -5th Prizes: RM3,000 – RM2,000
•6th -8th Prizes: RM1,800 – RM1,400
•9th -15th Prizes: RM1,200 – RM500
•16th -25th Prizes: RM400 each
•26th -35th Prizes: RM300 each
•36th -45th Prizes: RM200 each
•46th – 60th Prizes: RM100 each
In addition, Baderul shared that three gold bar prizes will be sponsored by Aspire Seberang, a one-stop electronic platform, for payments made via the ASPIRE app, Web Portal, or Smart Cashless Kiosk.
The first prize is a 3g gold bar, followed by a 2g and a 1g gold bar for the second and third prizes.
Baderul encouraged all premises owners to take advantage of the opportunity.
“I urge everyone to pay their 2026 assessment taxes, including any outstanding arrears, to enter the lucky draw and stand a chance to win these prizes,” he added.
