THE Penang Island City Council (MBPP) will call for tender for the management of its eight food complexes.
They are the Gold Coast Food Complex in Sungai Nibong, Chowrasta Market Food Complex (George Town), Jalan Tengah Food Complex (Bayan Baru), Selera Sri Pantai Food Complex (Bayan Lepas), Taman Terubong Jaya Food Complex (Paya Terubong), Lebuh Bakau Food Complex (Jelutong), Jalan Terengganu Food Complex (George Town) and food complex at Lintang Macallum 2 in George Town.
MBPP councillor Nicholas Theng said the tender process will begin on Nov 8 until Dec 27 involving four food complexes first.
“They are the Gold Coast Food Complex, Chowrasta Market Food Complex, Jalan Tengah Food Complex and Selera Sri Pantai Food Complex.
“Meanwhile, the tender process for another four food complexes namely Taman Terubong Jaya Food Complex, Lebuh Bakau Food Complex, Jalan Terengganu Food Complex and food complex at Lintang Macallum 2 in George Town will start on Nov 15 and close on Dec 20.
“Thus, we would like to invite interested parties to participate in the tender process for all the food complexes.
