THE Penang Crime Consciousness and Public Safety Society (CCPSS) and the Penang Road Transport Department (JPJ) will jointly organise a road safety campaign in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration.
The initiative follows the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties, marking a collaborative effort to enhance public road safety awareness in line with the government’s aspiration to safeguard community well-being.
The MoU was signed by CCPSS strategic adviser Seah Kok Heng and Penang JPJ director Zulkifly Ismail.

Other CCPSS members present at the signing ceremony were secretary Musen Liew, assistant secretary Edwin Martin, treasurer Prof Dr Tan Yen Wooi, committee member Raymond Chan Kheng Yeow, social media manager Peter Khaw Eu Chye, internal auditor Terrance Oo, esteemed member Albert Kee, and photographer Miko Ong.
“CCPSS is committed to providing full support and cooperation to JPJ in monitoring, enforcement, and the implementation of road safety initiatives for the benefit of the people and the development of Penang.
“We believe this close collaboration will bring lasting positive impact, particularly in road safety and national infrastructure development,” Seah said.
