IN his mission to ensure that industries in Penang grow and innovate alongside the needs of Industry Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0), Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow has been constantly visiting industry players, technology providers and manufacturers in the state to understand their progress.
Today, Chow and state Domestic and International Trade, Consumer Affairs and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairman Datuk Abdul Halim Hussain visited Kontron Asia Pacific Design in Perai to understand more about the company.
Chow and Abdul Halim were briefed on the products and services of Kontron during the two-hour visit. They also toured the research and development lab, innovation lab and other various departments.
Joining them was Kontron Asia Pacific Design chief executive officer P. Shanmuganathan.
Kontron is a global leader in embedded computing technology.
