NINE committee members of Penang Sports Club (PSC) this evening made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at Komtar.

Headed by president Sunny Goh, the PSC team congratulated Chow on his recent appointment as the new Chief Minister of Penang.

Also present were senior vice president Tye Weng Lok, vice president Steven Tan, honorary secretary Oliver Oh and treasurer Mary Ann Harris.

Goh said the Club hoped Chow and the new administration will continue to lead Penang to greater heights in the years to come.

He added that PSC is honoured to offer a club membership to the Chief Minister.

“We would also like to extend our invitation to you to grace our sports event scheduled for March 2019,” Goh told Chow.

He added that the PSC general committee also needed the state’s help with the additional premium (for 2018) and the land lease issue PSC is encountering now.

Chow, in response, said such matters will be looked into and the committee will be informed as soonest possible for any solutions to remedy the problems arising.
