LOCAL mobile platform Sports We Play and Ramsports have entered into a strategic partnership to collaborate on launching the internationally recognised RGPC Tour (pickleball tournament) and related events across Malaysia.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place yesterday (Sept 21) at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel in Bayan Lepas.

The ceremony was witnessed by Penang Education Department representative Mohd Fadzil Mohd Noor and Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) councillor Rachel Teh Chuann Yien, who represented Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.
Representing Sports We Play was its director Sim Fong Hau, while Ramsports was represented by its director Alex Yuan.
Sports We Play, is a dynamic mobile platform and website purely established in Malaysia to connect communities through sports, events, and digital engagement.
Meanwhile, Ramsports is Asia’s premier pickleball brand, offering elite equipment, performance apparel, and tournament experiences designed for the next generation of players.
Sim described the MoU as an important milestone that will boost sports development and strengthen community engagement.
“This landmark partnership will merge Sports We Play’s digital expertise with Ramsports’ global brand to deliver a series of premier tournaments, player and coach clinics, and exciting fan experiences while expanding Ramsports’ footprint in Malaysia,” Sim said.
He added that under the agreement, Sports We Play will serve as Ramsports’ official Malaysian platform and marketing collaborator, integrating Ramsports’ tournament system into its mobile app, website, and social media channels to streamline event management and enhance fan engagement.
Yuan, on his part, said the partnership reflects a shared passion for advancing sports in Malaysia.

“This collaboration is not just about organising events, it is about creating something special together, starting right here on the beautiful island of Penang.
“Malaysia is a key growth market for Ramsports, and by partnering with Sports We Play, we can bring the excitement of the RGPC Tour to new audiences and inspire the next generation of athletes,” Yuan said.
The event was also attended by Ramsports ambassadors and professional pickleball players Thomas Yu and Hsieh Yu Chieh.
