ACTOR Sugeindhiran is set to captivate audiences as Nathan Jackson in the upcoming 13-episode drama Kacang Hantu, premiering tonight (May 15) on RTM TV2.
Directed by Feroz Kader, produced by Jacqueline Hon of Deluxe Impression, and written by Tommy Loh, Kacang Hantu follows the journey of three friends navigating life and working together in an unconventional business.
Each character holds a distinct role: Izzy Reef portrays Idin, a gravedigger; Aaron Bosco takes on the role of Jason, a coffin seller; while Sugeindhiran plays Nathan Jackson, a mortuary car driver.
Kacang Hantu is learned to be the busking band name of these three individuals, where Idin plays the vocalist, Jason as guitarist, and Nathan Jackson as keyboardist.
In a recent exclusive interview with Buletin Mutiara, Sugeindhiran expressed his enthusiasm about the project, marking it as his third drama appearance to date.

“This drama is a significant milestone in my career.
“I am truly honored to be selected as one of the lead cast members. I’m deeply grateful to the director and producer for their trust in me,” he shared.
Speaking about his character, Sugeindhiran revealed an intriguing twist.
“Nathan Jackson is a die-hard Michael Jackson fan.
“My wardrobe and mannerisms throughout the show mirror the late King of Pop.
“Nathan is an emotional and sincere individual, but when the situation demands it, he is also capable of going to extremes,” he added.
Given that many scenes were filmed in cemeteries, Sugeindhiran noted that the cast and crew observed a meaningful practice.

“Out of respect, we always said a prayer before each shoot, something the elders strongly encouraged,” he said.
In addition to the main trio, Kacang Hantu features a talented supporting cast, including Sera Melissa as Mira, Kimberly Chuah, Kent Tan, Meor Mohd, Suky San, Awie Dean, Susila Devi, and Tiloshini.
