SOME 4,500 participants showed their patriotism carrying the National Flag at a funwalk which started at Beach Street this morning.
The non-competitive walk endorsed by the Penang State Government, Penang Island City Council, is organised by Occupy Beach Street started off at 7.30am from OCBC Premier.
It is aimed for walkers to have fun along the heart of Penang and celebrate Malaysia Day together!
Assemblymember for Pengkalan Kota, Gooi.Zi Sen and MBPP’s councillor Wong Yuee Harng flagged off the event.
