Ballroom dancers strut their staff

THE Penang International Open Ballroom Dancing Championship 2015 returned in swirling success for another year of exciting competition and performances.
This annual premier dance competition, which attracted over 500 participants from more than 22 countries around the globe, was held on Nov 27-28.
It was organised by Malaysian Dancers Association. Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng graced the event. Also present were honorary
president of World Dance Council, Karl Breuer, president of Asian Dance Council, Isao Nakagawa, president of the Malaysian Dancers Association,Datuk Dr Henry Ooi and event organising chairman,Datuk Seri Terry Lee.
Lim in his welcoming speech said he is certain the competitors will dance their way into the hearts of the crowd and delight them with their incredible moves.He added that next year, the Penang state government will host the World Dance Council Professional Latin World Championship on Nov 25 at SPICE Arena.
