THIS year Pests Pulau Pinang 2015 promises new excitement guided by its “rest and recreation”theme.Apart from goods, games and
display stalls, there will be numerous“selfie ports” awaiting visitors to the fair. “We hope all visitors to the fair this year will have some sweet memories to bring back home. Be they individuals, couples,adults or senior citizens,” organising committee chairman of Pesta Pulau Pinang 2015,Ahmad Shukri Jamaluddin, told Buletin Mutiara when met at the Pesta Pulau Pinang administration office at Sungai Nibong on Nov 29. “As an added feature, we will have a 10’ x 10’ feet board for photography purpose,” he added. Ahmad Shukri said the annual fair will be held from Nov 28 to Jan 2, 2016. It is open from 6pm to 12am.
Both Arena 1 and Arena 3 stage areas will have singers and band performances, karaoke competitions and exhibitions, apart from international boxing competitions. At Arena 2, there will be a Vendor and Boutique Festival with activities like Vendor Cosmetic, Slimming & Make Up Fest 2015, Moonlight Inspiration Model & Bridal Show and showcase by international Malaysian designer, Eja Shahril.Besides this, there will be “Recreation With Mutiara FM”(Santai Bersama Mutiara FM) and “Combat Sport Festival”(Festival Sukan Kombat).During the weekends (every Saturday and Sunday) at the Buskers Corner, visitors can check out the Euro Fun Park,Mini Park and European Park.Ahmad Shukri said other activities include sales festival at Pesta Uptown, Pesta Walk and Pesta Karpet.“Last year, Pesta Pulau Pinang attracted some 440,000 visitors.
