THE feasibility study report of the proposed Penang Undersea Tunnel may have been completed; however, the vetting process will take time.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the state government had appointed an independent checking engineer to represent the government to vet through the technical design and other details in the report.

“The feasibility study report may have been handed over to our independent checking engineer, but it will take some time for the engineering firm to check and verify the report,” Chow told a press conference at his office today.

He was replying to an online news report which stated that the feasibility study report of the proposed undersea tunnel has been completed.
