GLENEAGLES Penang, in collaboration with Grab Malaysia, has launched its Concierge by Grab for Business, a web booking transport service.
It will be the first of its kind in Penang and this collaborative effort signifies a milestone for both organisations.
The partnership announcement ceremony was witnessed by Gleneagles Penang chief operating officer Yong Zi Ling and Grab for Business Malaysia head Casey Chung at Gleneagles Penang (GP) in Pangkor Road.
Also present was GP’s senior manager of sales and marketing Foo Ai Leen.
The transport service is enabled through the Concierge by Grab, a web booking service platform that allows the ‘customer service’ team of the hospital to arrange and book on-demand trips on behalf of patients travelling home from the hospital.
“This service will be available from May 13.
“With this new added transport service at Gleneagles Penang, it will add more convenience to our patients, especially senior citizens who do not own smartphones or international patients who may not have data plans to book a ride,” commented Yong on May 4.
“We are proud to be the first hospital in Penang to collaborate with Grab Malaysia in providing this new transport service to our patients.”
