SOME 400 investors seized the opportunity to enhance their understanding of investment during an investment awareness programme held at Bahang Bay in Teluk Bahang yesterday (Oct 10).
Organised by the Majlis Tindakan Pengguna Negara (MTPN) and Quantum Metal, the investment programme focused on imparting valuable insights into investment strategies and raising awareness about scams and cybersecurity.
The event was held to educate and inform participants about various investment options, risk management strategies, and finance market dynamics.
Quantum Metal Group managing director Datuk Lim Khong Soon said this event was a platform for the public and investment enthusiasts to be equipped with education.
“We have always aimed to ensure our members are well-educated and we are overwhelmed by the overwhelming response.
“We hope to collaborate with more local corporate companies for similar awareness activities,” he said in his speech during the event.
Attendees of the programme were enriched with financial literacy through presentations by the Domestic Trade and Costs of Living Ministry, Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID), International Cyber Security Certified Body (ICSCB) and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).
Also present was MTPN Penang chairman Alston Tan.
