THE Penang Crime Consciousness and Public Safety Society (CCPSS) is gearing up to organise a special forum titled ‘CCPSS Prime Forum’, aimed at promoting integrity and strengthening public awareness of crime by educating communities on public safety.
Datuk Seri Khaw Kok Chin, the special advisor for the forum, shared that the event is scheduled to take place on April 23, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, at St. Giles Wembley.
According to Khaw, as of now, a total of 1,000 participants have registered for the forum, with another 500 slots available; these participants may also choose to walk in on the day of the event.
“Admission is free, each participant may ask one question, so please come up with a good question beforehand.

“The session will be streamed live and will cover topics including crime and integrity. Experienced panelists will share their knowledge and proposed solutions on these issues,” he added.
Also present were CCPSS chief executive strategic advisor Seah Kok Heng, CCPSS chairman Datuk Zainudin Ahmad, CCPSS honorary president Datuk Annie Chin, CCPSS treasurer Dr Tan Yen Wooi, and former Penang Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) director Ruslan Tuan Mat Zainudin, who is also one of the forum panelists.
The panelists include Zainudin Ahmad who is also the former deputy director of the Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID), former director of the Penang State Fire and Rescue Department Datuk Saadon Moktar; and former deputy Secretary-General (Policy and Planning) of the Ministry of National Unity Dr Kang Tong Hum.
Retired director of the Penang State Education Department Datuk Abdul Said Hussain will serve as the moderator for the forum.
The chief guest of the event will be Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.
