SEVENTY-FIVE needy families at the flat in Jalan Kedah were given groceries and food to sustain themselves during the movement control order (MCO) period here.
Keeping the poor, single parents and the disabled close to his heart, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow ensured that the groceries were distributed to those in need so that they would not be left out.
He was assisted by several Village Community Management Council members.
Packets of food stuff such as rice, cooking oil, condensed milk, biscuits, Milo, instant noodles, tea and others were distributed fairly to the eligible families.
