Mydin’s Ramadan programme benefits orphans and more

SPREADING joy and camaraderie, Mydin Bukit Jambul kicked off the Ramadan season with the Majlis Iftar Ramadan Perdana and Penyampaian Sumbangan Aidilfitri on March 20, held at Kompleks Bukit Jambul (KBJ).

 

As stated by Mydin northern region executive director Azmin Saduruddin, the programme was designed to uplift and support orphans, the asnaf community, and trishaw paddlers, offering them solace and assistance as they gear up for the significant Syawal celebration.

 

Highlighting the event, 30 deserving orphans from the southwest district were honoured, receiving essential equipment donations.

 

Besides that, Mydin organised an indoor Ramadan Bazaar, showcasing a diverse array of affordable iftar delicacies. Additionally, Mydin offers the Menu Rahmah priced at RM4.90 per buka puasa set, ensuring accessibility to all members of the community.

In addition, distributing bubur lambuk stands as a cherished Mydin tradition, conducted in collaboration with esteemed business partners, and provided complimentary to Mydin patrons.

 

“A total of 45,000 bubur lambuk packets will be distributed across our participating Mydin branches nationwide.

 

The distribution at Mydin Bukit Jambul is scheduled for March 23,” Azmin said.

 

Furthermore, he emphasised the management’s ongoing commitment to increasing staff incentives and benefits, underscoring Mydin’s dedication to employee welfare.

 

In conclusion, Azmin conveyed his hope that the incentives provided to the staff at Mydin Bukit Jambul would serve as a source of motivation, fostering ongoing dedication.
