New app for Sungai Pinang folk to voice out local issues

THE introduction of a new application, called #SungaiPinangInOneClick is expected to serve as a platform for the Sungai Pinang folk to voice out issues in their locality.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, who announced the new initiative earlier, said the application would also provide the locals with up-to-date information regarding the state government’s various programmes and policies.

He said this during his ‘Jelajah ❤️ Penang’ programme at the Jelutong parliamentary constituency today.

“I am delighted with the Sungai Pinang state constituency for this initiative. This application is not only aimed at assisting the people but to make sure they are in the know about all the things we do at the state level.

“I understand this application has a lot of features that can be explored apart from the ones mentioned above.

“It is hoped that the Sungai Pinang state constituency team overseeing this application will ensure that users receive the best service while using it, especially to assist voters with news surrounding the possibility of an early 15th General Election (GE15),” Chow said after launching the application at Taman Serina in Sungai Pinang today.

Also present was Sungai Pinang assemblyman Lim Siew Khim, who said that locals can also use the application to book halls, register for tuition and baking classes, while also allowing victims of domestic violence to make reports.

“The sole purpose of this application is to further strengthen our relationship with the people here by understanding their needs even better, and along the way, provide solutions that best fit their requests,” she said.
