CHIEF Minister Chow Kon Yeow assures that the state government will care for the welfare of all religious bodies in Penang.

“We will not rest on our laurels when it comes to providing assistance to religious organisations.

“This is because Pakatan Harapan believes in inclusivity.

“We successfully celebrated Pakatan government’s first anniversary two days ago.

“We shall stand united against religious extremism and racism,” Chow said after attending the St. George’s Church bicentenary celebration Thanksgiving service today.

Some 500 church members took part in the celebration.

Chow also appealed to the congregation to give the Federal Government some time to deliver a better country.

“I am aware of the feedbacks that Pakatan Harapan is not doing fast enough, and many promises remained unfulfilled.

“You have waited many years for change and change will surely come in due course,” Chow said.
