FAMILY members come together to engage in fun and educational activities at Gleneagles Hospital Penang this morning.

Organised by the hospital, in collaboration with the DAP Nagore Road Branch team and the Taman Traffic Village Community Management Council (MPKK), the Interactive Edutainment Programme attracted 37 children who had the opportunity to explore exciting activities under the guidance of professionals from Gleneagles Hospital Penang.

The children checked out an ambulance at the Emergency Department, learned about hand hygiene and wound care, as well as gained valuable knowledge about food and diet.

“As they explore the world and gain new knowledge, they also become vulnerable to injuries.

“This makes healthcare and personal care among the important skills to acquire to ensure we safeguard our children’s wellbeing and health,” Loh said.

He added that the programme equipped the children with a basic understanding of how to care for themselves and how to react to minor incidents – physically and emotionally.
