Pulau Mutiara Sepak Takraw Association launched

A NEW sepak takraw association has been formed recently to further promote the sport in Penang.

 

Penang Island City Council (MBPP) councillor Mohamed Yusoff Mohamed Noor launched the Pulau Mutiara Sepak Takraw Association (PMSTA) in Komtar today.

 

“PMSTA will hold clinics on Sundays to guide the young ones develop their skills.

 

“We welcome participation from all races in the community to enjoy the game,” Mohamed Yusoff said at the launching ceremony.

The association, which was officially registered on Jan 6 this year, is led by Mohd Sufian Hassan as its president.

 

The other office bearers are deputy president Saladin Abdul Rahim, secretary Mohd Shahir Jamaluddin, assistant secretary Norfazdlee Mohd Noor, treasurer Mohammad Shafiq Azim Asri and committee members Mohd Shafarid Rosli, Faizal Ashraf Ali, Hasrul Zamani Mohamad Sopian and Selamat Puteh.
