PWCC to hold ‘Inspiring Future Leaders’ Conference

THE Penang Women Chamber of Commerce (PWCC) will organise an “Inspiring Future Leaders” Conference at G Hotel on March 30, 2019.

This is in line with the Penang 2030 vision propounded by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, according to state Women & Family Development, Gender Inclusiveness and Non-Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman Chong Eng.

“The conference will focus on honing individual leadership skills as well as challenging participants to think out of the box and pushing themselves to grow as reputable leaders of today’s world,” Chong Eng told a press conference in Komtar today.

“We hope to attract 400 participants from Malaysia and Singapore, especially the women in various professions and backgrounds, such as entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate leaders and executives.

“The objective of PWCC is to provide a platform, inspire and empower women in the business world. I hope that women would take this golden opportunity to sign up and be part of the conference.”

Also present were PWCC president Datuk Annie Chin and some of their members.

Chong Eng said Chow has agreed to officiate the event and deliver a keynote speech. The event would see renowned feng shui master and businesswoman Lilian Too, investPenang director Datuk Seri Lee Kah Choon and Saigon Beer Alcohol Beverage Corporation director Koh Poh Tiong of Singapore among the speakers.
