HUNDREDS of guests came together to celebrate unity as they thronged the Hari Raya open house at Level Five, Komtar here.
The event was organised by the Sports and Welfare Club of the Penang State Secretariat Office.
The guests were treated to mouth-watering Raya dishes such as rendang chicken, curry noodle, roti jala, curry chicken, kambing golek and various traditional kuih Raya.
The guests were also treated to singing performances and a best-dressed competition.
Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow was the event’s guest of honour.
Chow enjoyed his lunch together with state Secretary Datuk Seri Farizan Darus, state Domestic and International Trade, Consumer Affairs and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairman Datuk Abdul Halim Hussain and Penang Island City Council secretary Addnan Mohd Razali.
