Senior Citizens had contributed immensely to local community, says assemblymember for Air Itam

THANK you for allowing me to touch your hearts and to bring the priceless smiles onto your lovely faces.

I am truly honoured to have a role in your lives for this festive season. It’s not about all the uncles & aunties or grandfathers

and grandmothers of The Little Sisters of The Poor being with me to attend this year end programme organized by my office but

more about allowing me the opportunity to make this year’s Christmas a meaningful one for all of you and in welcoming the new

year of 2019,” assemblymember for Air Itam Joseph Ng Soon Siang said when he hosted senior citizens of the Home to a

Christmas gathering on December 29.

He added : “ I know because as a son of Air Itam, the ins and outs of The Little Sisters of The Poor throughout the decades have

never been too far from my mind.

With this, I am referring to all the senior citizens of this home who had contributed immensely to our community at large, to

Penang in particular and to the nation as a whole.

Your blood & sweat when you were all in your prime made Penang ticked,” he stressed.

As a parting note at the function, Ng also wish each and every one present to be in the prime  of health not only for 2019 but for

many years to come.
