“As the Chief Minister of Penang, I am grateful that in Penang, we have many NGOs that are working hard to meet the various needs of the various groups in the community.

“The role of the state government and government agencies is to facilitate and work together with NGOs in reaching out to the targeted group so that they can be part of our society.

“I would like to salute all the NGOs that have been working throughout these years,” Chow said when he attended the Gift of Love Charity Food Fair organised by the Service Civil International (SCI) Penang Chapter at the Special Children’s Centre Penang in Jalan Grove today.
