槟州房屋发展及环境委员会主席孙达拉祖强调，槟州政府从今年9月1日起落实的“禁用一次性塑料袋”措施，并不涉及小贩及公共巴刹商贩，现阶段不会对相关群体采取取缔行动。 他说，州政府明白小贩及巴刹业者在处理鱼类、汤类及生鲜湿货时，仍需使用防水塑料袋，因此目前仅会率先在已同意配合的商家类别落实执法，采取循序渐进方式推动“无一次性塑料袋”政策。
