THE ‘Penang RendezVous’ has returned for the second time to tap into high-end market and attract high value tourists to the state.

State Tourism, Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee (PETACH) chairman Yeoh Soon Hin said the ‘Penang RendezVous’ was also in line with the Penang 2030 vision and Experience Penang Year (EPY) 2020 initiative in creating more high tourism products and bringing in more investment to state at the same time.

“The three-day event is family-friendly and curated to everyone with day activities such as kid’s entertainment, panel discussions, wine tastings and night parties for an ultimate luxury lifestyle experience right here in Penang, ” Yeoh said at the launching of the event held at Straits Quay Marina on Oct 11.

Also present were Asia Rendezvous chief executive officer Gael Burlot and its vice president Aileen Soh, Heart Media chief executive officer Olivier Burlot and World Rewards chief executive officer John Tan

Held from Oct 11 to 13, the ‘Penang RendezVous’ programme brings together the biggest brands from all across the world, ranging from fine yachts, supercars, watches and jewellery, cuisine, properties, fashion and art.

Just like last year, leisure boating enthusiasts are also offered the opportunity of sea trials.
