Two private companies give back to society

HAVING the heart for charity, two companies, namely Lee Ting San Group and Chobe Master (Biocare Supplements Worldwide Manufacturing Sdn Bhd), officially made their respective contributions to the community today.

 

State Welfare and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh thanked both the companies for their thoughtful deeds.

 

“Thank you for your love and care for the community.

 

“We appreciate your efforts to ensure the well-being of our people,” he said during the mock cheque presentation ceremony held in Komtar today.

 

It was learned that the official cheque handover ceremony could not be held earlier due to the Covid-19 restriction.

 

Lee Ting San Group sponsored a total of 20 units of patient transfer trolleys worth RM 140,000 to Sungai Bakap Hospital (10 units), Kepala Batas Hospital (5 units) and Penang Hospital (5 units).

 

Meanwhile, Chobe Master contributed RM3,800 to Persatuan Kebajikan Cahaya Hadapan Pulau Pinang (PKCHPP) for co-organising the ‘Lions Club International Chess 2021 (For The Differently-Abled Community).

 

The chess competition was held on Nov 6 and 13 via Zoom.

 

It was managed by Penang Chess Association together with Malaysian Chess Federation as well as supported by Kiwanis Club of Penang Central.

 

Also present were Lee Ting San Group of Companies director Lee Hooi Peng, who is also the Persatuan Kebajikan Cahaya Hadapan Pulau Pinang (PKCHPP) chairman, Biocare Supplements Worldwide Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (Chobe Master) managing director Lim Song Kuang and the representatives from the respective hospitals.
