Various hotels are giving special promotions to the visitors during the three-day WHOLE PENANG 2020 trade fair.
Olive Tree Hotel is creating awareness on its online store, where shoppers can purchase ‘go-green’ products at an affordable price.
Its assistant sales manager Calynn Teng said the hotel is an avid supporter of green initiatives.
New four-star hotel in Tanjung Tokong, Hompton by the Beach, is promoting its rooms as well as food and beverages.
“We are selling our hi-tea and room vouchers at a promotional price. We have a selection of rooms that can cater to the needs of our customers,” Hompton sales manager Charmaine Seah said.
The Pearl Hotel in Kuala Lumpur has also decided to promote its hotel at the event.
Its director of sales Yusri M. Yusof said the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the hotel industry.
“We are opening only about 120 rooms now as compared to 555 rooms to optimise our resources.
“We believe that the situation will get better as we are seeing an increase in our occupancy rate over the past few weeks,” he said.
Meanwhile, those who love water activities should consider staying at the Grand Orient Hotel.
Hotel manager James Chang said their guests could experience a memorable stay with their family and friends at the hotel while enjoying the Laguna Waterpark.
M Summit 191 Executive Hotel Suites sales and reservation executive Noor Izwani Redzuwan said the hotel suites offer special rates on meeting room packages as well as The Skye Event Space.
“We are also collaborating with The TOP Penang to offer the Family Stay and Play Package. Those who purchase this affordable package can stay at our hotel and enjoy selected attractions at The TOP Penang,” she said.
Favehotel Cenang Beach Langkawi and Hotel Neo+ Penang are also offering great deals for their rooms.
The tiffin carrier-shaped mooncake boxes drew public attention to the booth of Eastin Hotel Penang.
Eastin Hotel Penang assistant sales manager Catherine Beh said WHOLE PENANG 2020 visitors could enjoy a 15% discount when they purchase the boxes of mooncake during the event.
The hotel is also promoting its rooms as well as food and beverages.
Sunway Hotel Georgetown sales manager Joanne Tan said visitors at the event could enjoy early bird offers on hotel rooms at Sunway Georgetown, Sunway Velocity Hotel and Sunway Seberang Jaya.
Meanwhile, Hotel Equatorial Penang is selling its Christmas, birthday, dim sum party and Chinese New Year packages at a much cheaper price.
The hotel is also selling mooncakes and promoting takeaway service by its Kampachi Restaurant.
