It is our hope to have two Little India in Penang, says Deputy Chief Minister 11.

THINK City and Seberang Perai Municipal Council (MPSP) has jointly committed to beautify the Bagan Dalam area in it’s project to be the second Little India in Penang.

Deputy Chief Minister 11, P. Ramasamy said this when he officiated the lighting ceremony for Jalan Jetty Lama area in Bagan Dalam yesterday evening.

The lighting ceremony was carried out to celebrate Deepavali which falls today.

“We hope to beautify the Bagan Dalam surrounding through this joint project by Think City and MPSP,” he added.
Joining Ramasamy at the lighting ceremony was assembly member for Bagan Dalam, Satees Muniandy and JKKK members for Bagan Dalam constituency.

After the lightning ceremony, the Deputy Chief Minister also joined the event organisers for a walk-about around the Jalan Jetty Lama area.
