A place to experience the fusion of glamour & camping

BOULDER Valley in Teluk Bahang had its soft launch in the evening of Nov 24  which was attended by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow and exco member for Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture & Arts Yeoh Soon Hin.

Surrounded by lush greenery with a land area covering 24 acres, Boulder Valley offers a unique way to experience nature without sacrificing creature comforts. The place is perfect for those who love glamping, a fusion of glamour and camping where the wonders of beautiful nature meets modern luxury.

“This site was an abandoned rubber estate with only earth track without water supply, electricity nor any infrastructure available. But today, it has been transformed well beyond my expectation. What we witnessed today is the completion of the first phase of Boulder Valley Glamping with a total cost of RM25 million,” Chow said in his speech.

“I was really impressed when the company Amazing Discovery Sdn Bhd can preserve the original environment while making it more convenient to others. It showcases an example of sustainable ecotourism practice whereby the natural environment is preserved while releasing the economic potentials.

“I understand that while the total land area is 24 acres, only 4.5% has been used for the built up while the rest of the site is retained in its original state. It takes a lot of determination and dedication to achieve what you see today,” the chief minister noted.

Also present were MBPP mayor Datuk Yew Tung Seang, Teluk Bahang assemblyman Zolkifly Md Lazim, Amazing Discovery chairman Heah Gek Huah and executive director Nina Lee and MOTAC Penang director Jonathan Freddy Bagang.
