DESPITE still having to weather through the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, concerted efforts by the Penang government and the Joint Management Body (JMB) to enhance the quality of life for Penangites still remain a top priority.

Residents of Mewah Court Apartment in Jelutong received a delightful news today when their application for the replacement of 16 water tanks was approved by Penang government.

State Local Government, Housing, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said the replacement works, which will commence soon, would involve two blocks within the premises of the apartment.

“I am so happy to be here to announce the approval for the replacement of 16 water tanks, which would cost RM468,000.

“The project, which falls under the Penang Maximum 80% Maintenance Fund (TPM80PP), will see the state government pay 80% (RM374,400) while the Joint Management Body (JMB) pay 20% (RM93,600),” Jagdeep told a press conference at Mewah Court Apartment today.
